UNIT 2 : Islam an Eternal Believe

A.O.I : Health and Social Education

1.Investigate :-

Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) is the predominant markup language for web pages. HTML elements are the basic building-blocks of webpages.
HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags, enclosed in angle brackets(like <html>), within the web page content. HTML tags most commonly come in pairs like <h1> and </h1>, although some tags, known as empty elements, are unpaired, for example <img>. The first tag in a pair is the start tag, the second tag is the end tag (they are also called opening tags and closing tags). In between these tags web designers can add text, tags, comments and other types of text-based content.
The purpose of a web browser is to read HTML documents and compose them into visible or audible web pages. The browser does not display the HTML tags, but uses the tags to interpret the content of the page.
HTML elements form the building blocks of all websites. HTML allows images and objects to be embedded and can be used to create interactive forms. It provides a means to create structured documents by denoting structural semantics for text such as headings, paragraphs, lists, links, quotes and other items. It can embed scripts in languages such as JavaScript which affect the behavior of HTML webpages.
Web browsers can also refer to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define the appearance and layout of text and other material. The W3C, maintainer of both the HTML and the CSS standards, encourages the use of CSS over explicitly presentational HTML markup.
There are several articles that list some important upcoming features of HTML5, which can work on certain browsers. This tutorial for the web developer will show you how you can use certain features of HTML 5 NOW!
HTML 5 features which are useful right now include:
  • Web Workers: Certain web applications use heavy scripts to perform functions. Web Workers use separate background threads for processing and it does not effect the performance of a web page.
  • Video: You can embed video without third-party proprietary plug-ins or codec. Video becomes as easy as embedding an image.
  • Canvas: This feature allows a web developer to render graphics on the fly. As with video, there is no need for a plug in.
  • Application caches: Web pages will start storing more and more information locally on the visitor's computer. It works like cookies, but where cookies are small, the new feature allows for much larger files. Google Gears is an excellent example of this in action.
  • Geolocation: Best known for use on mobile devices, geolocation is coming with HTML5.

Islam is like a building built upon 5 pillars. Without these 5 pillars
<br>
your structure falls apart. It's very crucial that we follow each
<br>
pillar as it says because each pillar is obligatory and is a sign
<br>
of your commitment to Allah.

4.Create

5.Evaluate

Evaluation

Evaluation is perhaps the most important part of the Design Cycle. You need to evaluate the final product, evaluate each stage of the Design Cycle.

 1. Understanding of MYP technology

Evaluation of MYP Technology

Why do you think we   are using the design cycle?

We are using design cycle to do our work systematically as well as to make our understanding clear step by step to make our work more better  which  give the best piece of work

What is the most
Difficult part in design cycle?

In this unit the most difficult part for me was create because the  computer which I used for making the web pages had some technical problem by which my work was stopped in the middle of the unit then I used another computer because of which whole location was changed and I made the pages again

Do you think you can use the design cycle to do the next project?

Design cycle can be used in any of the projects as it means to design something in our mind and then convert our mind mapping/designing into practical which gives a better result instead of doing something without design cycle .Design cycle help us to set up our work and to do it in an organize manner

Self-Assessment on understanding of design cycle
                5/6

1.      Final Product

Evaluation of: FINAL PRODUCT

Have you solved the problem?

Yes after facing lots of problem my problem was finally solved.

Self-Assessment
                    5/6

2.      Design Cycle

Evaluation of Design Cycle: INVESTIGATION

Have you explained the problem clearly in the Design Brief and Specification?

Yes I explained my problem clearly and even explained how i reached to the solution  of the problem

Have you investigated the problem thoroughly using several different sources/methods of gathering information?

Yes I searched about it on different sites but they were not up to my level so I took some guide from my friends and I got the problem then I reached the solution by myself

Self Assessment
               5/6

Evaluation of Design Cycle: DESIGN

Did you produce several feasible designs?

Yes my designs where good and appropriate
Could you justify your chosen final design?

Yes my final design was nice but the things which were there in my mind map to add in the web pages was not fully used

Are your designs fully described?

Yes I have described my design in brief and I can explain what I did.

Are they of good quality?

According to me I can do much better then the work I did but just because of the problem I faced i was not that much satisfy with my work

Self Assessment

Evaluation of Design Cycle: CREATE

Did you use the tools or equipment effectively?

Yes I used all the important tools which were suppose to be there in a web page but the additional work which I wanted to do was left.

Are there any problems? How did you solve them?

There was a technical problem with my PC it was hanging and my work stops but after all I shifted my work on other PC and finally completed the work.

If there is a change, can you justify your changes in previous steps like Design or investigation?

Yes there were many changes and I can justify the changes just because of shifting the work from one place to another the location of images that were added in the web page was changed because of which i had to make the changes in the web pages

Did you create a solution of appropriate quality?

Yes my solution was appropriate as it finally solved my problem

Self Assessment
             4/6

Evaluation of Design Cycle: ATTITUDES IN TECHNOLOGY

Did you work to the best of your ability?

No according to me this work was just good but I would have done much better according to me.

Were you self motivated?

Yes I was self motivated and started my work enthusiastically but at the end of the unit i was not satisfy with my work

Could you solve problems and work independently?

Yes I was independent and solved my problems by my own

Self Assessment
